" I asked Noah yesterday what his five favorite things are at FTE. His first was gym. :). His second was your programming class! He was so extremely proud of the Flappy Bird program he did last week. He and I both so appreciate that you're letting him go at his own pace instead of lockstep instruction in something he already knows. So, top grades from us!" |

My wife and I are thankful for Janet Couvillion. She enthusiastically provides educational opportunities to our youth. Her promotion of programming and robotics not only fills a void in our community, but her efforts open whole new worlds of discovery.
This community has ample opportunities for those children seeking athletic experiences, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and swimming. There are also numerous options when it comes to musical training. There is however a void when it comes to fun and interactive STEM exposure. Through Janet's actions and passion, she makes it now possible for parents to connect their children's technology dreams to an exciting, fun and real opportunity.
We love that Janet is sharing and promoting her passion. She is eager to promote these skills beyond her current elementary school and possesses a strong desire to increase the involvement of young girls as well. She has a dream of building the community youth robotics program district wide. She is the seed that is sparking interest in young minds across the district. Her motivational style and courses will surely play a key role in strengthening the middle school and high school robotics teams.
We signed up our 10 year old son for a Scratch programming class this past summer. He loved it. He is also taking her Beginning Robotics class after school this fall semester. His passions now have an environment to flourish thanks to Janet.
Respectfully,

"Janet offers the most engaging, educational classes for young people with a budding interest in technology. She is extremely knowledgeable and is able to convey the material in a way that is tailored to each student's developmental needs. She is both passionate and compassionate, and clearly loves both teaching and her students. My son loves going to her classes!" |
